Corey Shuman

Electrical Engineer, Software and Embedded Systems

About Me

My name is Corey Shuman and I'm an Embedded Systems Engineer. My adventure in programming has taken me from designing network-monitoring equipment for utility companies to building web-based financial software for school districts. Now I've set my sights on robotics; to that end I'm currently working on my Masters in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Autonomous Unmanned Vehicles. I'm a ruthless problem-solver who won't stop debugging until I understand the problem and can provide multiple solutions to fix it. One of my favorite problem-solving achievements was when I wrote a software Frequency-shift keying (FSK) demodulator from scratch.

I have a vested interest in the future of technology, the current state of software quality and security in the world concerns me, and I love building new and innovative tools to improve our lives. I love speaking to other technophiles so feel free to reach out to me at the contact info below.
